Our resident toad is out and about most evenings. Captured her tonight just taking it easy. She loves a quick dip in our newly created pond.
The common toad or European toad is common in the UK. A toad is identifiable from a frog by it’s “lumpy”, or commonly called “warty” skin. The skin lumps are not warts. Toads also prefer to walk (but can hop if needed) where as frogs typically hop.
